ILMerge

Great to hear about this project! But for now I'll be sticking to C++ because of all the code written already...

When adding (foreign) references to an assembly, you'll end up with a lot of files for just one single application (or library). Personally, I don't like to keep track of all these files. I found out that Microsoft has an application called "ILMerge.exe" which will convert all these assemblies into one. Wouldn't this be great for VST.NET too?

Anyway, here's the link:

Thanx. I know about ILMerge and used it for some of my other projects (exe) to create one binary and then obfuscate it.

I don't believe ILMerge will handle mixed C++ assemblies and merging Core and Framework doesn't make much sense because Interop also depends on Core, so you'd need a separate Core assembly anyway.
