I have tried to compile the VSTNetMidiPlugin template. After fixing a number of silly issues, all my fault, I am left with one error:

The type 'System.Configuration.Configuration' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'System.Configuration, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. C:\Users\xx\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\VSTNetMidiPlugin\PluginCommandStub.cs 16 18 VstNetMidiPlugin

I am using Net 4.5, VS 2013 Express, and Windows 7 Professional.

I have added System.Configuration but it has no System.Configuration.Configuration.

I have highlighted a problem here:
'System.Configuration, Version= 4.0.0.0 , Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'.
I am using Net 4.5, VS 2013 Express, and Windows 7 Professional.

Either you are using 4.0 or 4.5, can't do both in the same project.

Thanks for the info. I changed the NET framework but still had a problem. Then I noticed one of the warnings; It could not find Jacobi.Vst.Interop as listed in the References. I updated the reference and it now compiles. Regards Roger Fedyk
